For a long time I wanted to be able to get a complete workout at home, without the hassle of waiting for available equipment. The idea of working for a fitness equipment design company had also intrigued me. After reading Stuart McRobert's book The Insiders Tell-all Guide to Weight Training Technique I knew that I wanted build my own gym.

My gym is essentially a power rack with a high/low pulley system. It is mostly made out of square steel tubing. Having this equipment gives me gym access whenever I want and makes it possible to exercise without a spotter.
